The Mount Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a woman, after she was bucked off a horse, at a private property north east of Mt Isa, yesterday afternoon (3rd April 2020).
It’s believed the woman was mustering cattle, when she was flung over the front of the horse, landing on her head which knocked her unconscious for a short period of time.
The rescue chopper was first on the scene, after being tasked to the private property around 1pm.
The local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) crew arrived shortly after to assist in the treatment of the woman.
The woman, aged in her twenties, was airlifted to Mount Isa Hospital in a stable condition.
