Toowoomba’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured in a two-vehicle crash this afternoon.
The rescue chopper was called to the scene, south east of Warwick, just after 3:30pm.
It’s believed the patient, aged in his late teens, had been driving a ute, when it collided head on with a sedan.
His vehicle rolled, as a result of the crash.Â
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers and Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) personnel were on the scene, when the aeromedical team arrived.
The patient was treated for multiple upper body injuries, before being flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a serious but stable condition.
