RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews called to second crash at hinterland motocross track

The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted an injured teenager, after he crashed his bike on a motocross track, this morning (Oct 18th).

The rescue helicopter flew to the scene, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, shortly after 11am.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics worked alongside the aeromedical team to treat the teenage boy, for chest and possible spinal injuries.

He was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

It’s the second time the local RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew has been called to the same location this weekend, after another motocross accident yesterday.
