Bundaberg’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a man to hospital, after he was injured in a trail bike crash, earlier today (Sunday 27th December).
The rescue chopper was called to the scene, north west of Eidsvold at 2:40pm.
It’s believed the patient had been riding with friends, when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical crew worked alongside local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the male, aged in his fifties, for a broken leg.
He was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital, in a stable condition.
