RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts child after car crash

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a primary-school aged girl to hospital, after she was injured in a car crash, earlier today (April 10th).

It’s believed the girl was travelling in a car, along a highway, south west of Bundaberg, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics initially treated the girl, before driving her to a clearing nearby, to rendezvous with the rescue chopper crew.

She suffered multiple injuries and was flown in a stable condition to Bundaberg Hospital
