The Sunshine Coast’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a teenage girl to hospital, after she was injured in an off-road motorbike accident, this afternoon.
The rescue aircraft was sent to the scene, at a track in the South Burnett, just after 2.30pm (Saturday 31 July).
The aeromedical crew worked with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics at the scene, to treat the girl for an upper body injury.
She was flown to Bundaberg Airport and then transported to hospital, by a QAS road ambulance.
The girl flew under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and a QAS Flight Paramedic, in a stable condition.
