RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts rider after fall from horse

Toowoomba’s RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after he fell off a horse, while working at a cattle yard. 

The aircraft was sent to the scene, in the Toowoomba region, around 11.15 this morning (Sunday 24 October). 

The rider, aged in his 20s, was treated for leg and chest injuries by the aeromedical team and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics. 

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
