The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a motorbike rider to hospital, after a collision with a four-wheel-drive, north of Toowoomba.
The helicopter was tasked around 6 o’clock this morning (Sunday 19th December) and the pilot was able to land on the highway, near the crash scene.
The aeromedical crew worked with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the man for multiple injuries.
The rider, aged in his 20s, was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a stable condition.
