The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew airlifted a woman to hospital, after she was injured in a two car crash, on New Year’s Day morning.
The vehicles collided – one then rolling and landing on its roof – at an intersection north west of Toowoomba at around 11.30am.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter pilot landed on the road near the crash site.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Paramedic assisted Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics in assessing and treating three patients at the scene.
A woman, who is aged in her sixties, was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a serious but stable condition, suffering leg injuries.
