The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew have flown an injured man to hospital, after an incident involving a truck and a car, in the Somerset region.
It’s believed the patient was the driver of the car.
The aeromedical team was called into action just before 5.30pm (Tuesday 11 October) and the pilot was able to land close to the scene.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Flight Nurse worked with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the patient
The man, who is aged in his 20s, was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a stable condition.
