The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted two women, after they were injured in a car crash in the Western Downs.
The aeromedical team was called into action around 11 o’clock last night (Thursday 23rd Feb).
The crew flew to a small airport near the scene, where Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics had transported the patients to, via road.
The two females were flown to Toowoomba Hospital, under the care of the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
Both patients suffered suspected spinal injuries.
