The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a motorbike rider to hospital after a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
The incident occurred on a highway in the South Burnett region.
The chopper was tasked around 1.30pm and the pilot landed the aircraft at a site nearby.
Local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics treated the patient before transferring him into the care of the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic.
The man, aged in his 50s, suffered injuries to his limbs and was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.
