The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted another motocross rider from the recreational park situated in the Southern Downs region this morning.
The rescue chopper pilot flew the aeromedical team to the scene shortly after 9am (Sunday January 7).
The pilot was able to land close to the scene.
It is believed the male teen had been riding with friends when he lost control and crashed his bike.
The RACQ LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic worked alongside local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for back injuries and a broken arm.
He was then flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
This was the second motocross rider that RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical crews had airlifted in less than 24 hours.
Yesterday (January Saturday 6), the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper airlifted a young male who had also crashed his bike.
He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital with a suspected broken leg.
