The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew last night airlifted a man to hospital after he was injured in a single vehicle incident.
The rescue helicopter was tasked to the Bruce Highway near Monduran at 7.45pm.
It’s believed a vehicle with six passengers inside swerved to avoid hitting a kangaroo and crashed into a road sign.
One patient, aged in his teens, was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital with a significant neck injury.
Five other patients were transported in a stable condition to Bundaberg Hospital by road.
