The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a man after a horse-riding incident yesterday, Sunday 23 March.
It’s believed the man in his 50s was mustering cattle on a private property in the Toowoomba region when he fell and sustained significant chest injuries.
The crew was tasked at 10.10am and was able to land the helicopter in a paddock close to the scene.
He was treated by local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics, the LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic and flown to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment.
