The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew airlifted a boy to hospital after a motorcycle accident in the Goondiwindi Region late yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 24th September).
The rescue chopper was tasked to a private property just before 5pm.
It is believed the primary school-aged boy had been riding near his home when he lost control of the motorcycle.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and paramedic worked alongside Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics to treat the boy for a broken leg and possible head injuries.
His condition was stable during the flight to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
