The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a boy to hospital this evening after he fell into a fire at a campground.
The helicopter was tasked at 5.20pm to the Southern Downs region and landed near the campground.
The camp caretaker transported the LifeFlight medical crew to the boy.
He was treated for burns injuries on his hands and legs by the LifeFlight critical care doctor, Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) flight paramedic and local QAS paramedics.
He was airlifted to Queensland Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
