The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter crew airlifted a man to hospital this morning, after he was injured in a single vehicle crash.
The aeromedical chopper was tasked to the Scenic Rim region at around 11am.
It’s believed the vehicle crashed into a tree, injuring the two occupants inside.
A male patient, aged in his 40s, suffered from multiple trauma injuries, and was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.
A female patient, aged in her 40s, was taken by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Tasked by Queensland Health, the LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
