The Brisbane-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a woman to hospital this afternoon, after she fell off a horse in the Lockyer Valley region.
The aeromedical team was tasked at 11am to the scene, where the pilot landed the helicopter in a field near the accident.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was treated for suspected spinal and head injuries on the scene by local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics and LifeFlight’s medical team.
She was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.
