The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter crew yesterday airlifted a woman to hospital after a bull incident.
The LifeFlight crew attended a private property in Upper Dawson at 6:08pm after a woman in her 60s was struck by a bull.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor, QAS flight paramedic and local QAS paramedics treated the patient before she was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with head, neck, chest and hand injuries.
Tasked by Queensland Health, the LifeFlight SGAS helicopter and crew performed this mission as part of the SGAS partners’ commitment to providing community aeromedical coverage.
