The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a boy to hospital, after a quad bike accident, north of Crows Nest.
It’s believed the primary school-aged boy was attempting a jump on a private property, when he was injured.
The helicopter was tasked to the scene around 11.30am.
The aeromedical crew joined Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics in treating and stabilising the patient, before he was transferred to the helicopter.
He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital, under the care of an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and a QAS Flight Paramedic.
He was transported in a stable condition, with head and abdominal injuries.
