Two RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters have responded to the scene of a multi-patient crash, in the Scenic Rim region.
It’s believed a vehicle crashed off a road, into water at a dam.
The Toowoomba-based chopper was initially tasked, around 2.30pm this afternoon (Sun 22nd Nov), followed by the Brisbane-based aircraft, which was tasked around 20 minutes later.
Once on scene, the aeromedical crews worked alongside personnel from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), Queensland Police Service (QPS), Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) and Queensland Government Air (QGAir) helicopter.
The Brisbane-based helicopter airlifted a woman, aged in her 30s, to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
She was transported in a stable condition.
The Toowoomba-based aircraft did not airlift any patients from the scene.
