The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a motorbike rider, after he collided with a kangaroo in the Goondiwindi region, this morning.
The rescue chopper was tasked just after midday and flew to Texas Hospital, where Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics had transported him to.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and the QAS Critical Care Flight Paramedic stabilised him, before he was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a serious condition.
The rider, aged in his sixties, suffered multiple injuries.
