The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured in a motorbike crash, earlier today. (Sun 18th)
It’s believed he was riding at a motocross park in the Scenic Rim, when he lost control of his dirt bike and crashed.
The rescue chopper was called into action shortly after 10am.
The pilot was able to land the aircraft at the motocross park.
The man, aged in his fifties, suffered multiple injuries and was flown in stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Yesterday (Sat 17th), the Brisbane-based chopper was called to the same motocross park to airlift a man, aged in his twenties, who had also been injured after crashing his bike.
He suffered upper body injuries and was flown in a stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
