Two LifeFlight helicopters tasked to car and truck crash 

Two LifeFlight aeromedical crews were tasked to airlift patients following a crash between a vehicle and truck in the Somerset region.

The two helicopters from Toowoomba and Brisbane were tasked to the scene at 9am. 

Multiple patients were treated by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics before the LifeFlight crews were able to land the helicopters in a paddock close to the incident.

A teenage girl was treated for face and arm injuries by QAS paramedics and the LifeFlight critical care doctor and paramedic before being airlifted to Queensland Children’s Hospital. 

A woman in her 30s was treated for multiple injuries by QAS paramedics and the LifeFlight critical care doctor and paramedic before being airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Both were in a stable condition.
