AVI30519 Certificate III in Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer)
This course is the entry level qualification for anyone who wishes to pursue a career as a helicopter Rescue Crew Officer in the aviation industry. This course aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to work competently in the role of a Rescue Crew Officer in the search and rescue sector of the helicopter operational environment. These skills are taught in an aviation workplace which include winching, managing loads, health and security procedures and managing emergency situations in a helicopter.
Course options
The LifeFlight training academy offer several options for the delivery of AVI30519 Certificate III in Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer).
1.a
Introduction to Rescue Crew Officer Intensive Course:
This course is pre-designed with set electives, dates, and locations and is not able to be customised. Successful students will receive 8 of the 13 units included in AVI30519 Certificate III in Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer).
1.b
Rescue Crew Officer Intensive Block B:
For individuals who have completed LifeFlight’s introduction to Rescue Crew Officer Intensive Course and are seeking to complete the AVI30519 Certificate III in Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer), a second intensive course, Rescue Crew officer Block B, is offered, which comprises of the remaining units required to achieve the AVI30519 Certificate III in Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer).

Bespoke AVI30519 Certificate III in Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer) Training Course:
Developed in consultation with you, where you choose the required elective units to be included in the qualification training course. Additionally, the location of the training, the course dates and aircraft type are also able to be arranged to suit your needs and requirements.
